Clothes to Ukraine

Bourton Vale Equine Clinic are acting as a collection centre for clothes to Ukraine. when they get a van load they move it on to the next collection link until there is an arctic load which is shipped out. They are happy to take donations from anybody, however they ask that doners telephone in advance in case their storage is full.

Archaeological Dig at Parsons Piece

Archeoscan who last year conducted an excavation at Parsons Piece - Guiting Power have uncovered what is believed to be the Southern Wing of a substantial medieval building likely to be the site of the Saxon / Norman manor, finds from the site have preliminary dating to the 10ce to 16ce.

In 2024 they will continue where they left off on the following dates;

Guiting Power Playing Field

Trustees have agreed with the Parish Council, that due to continued fouling on the playing field, all dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
